Draper Preserve

Draper Preserve is a quick and easy hike that is great for families, dog owners, and photographers. The trail begins at Lion Park, which has ample parking and restrooms. From the covered picnic area, take off on the boardwalk through Draper's wetlands. Moose have been known to join hikers on the boardwalk, so keep your eyes peeled for these large mammals! Cross the Big Wood River on the uniquely designed Bow Pedestrian Bridge and turn right to follow the river. Riverside beaches dot this part of the trail before it fades; turn around and re-cross the bridge to return to your car. Be sure to snap some photos on or near the Bow Bridge - it's a popular spot for photography!
